My model railway layout based on the famous Bluebell Railway. Horsted Keynes was chosen as the station to be modelled. This is a large country station, with 5 platforms, and carriage and wagon workshops. The station also has a number of storage sidings for rolling stock and frieght. The layout is modelled in 4mm, OO scale, using ready to run and kit built locos and stock to be as close as possible the Bluebells impressive stock list.

The layout was extended in 2009 with an additional, fictional small terminus station at East Grinstead. This layout has an Island platform with a mainline connection behind it, and a run round loop for the preserved side.

I hope you Enjoy this site, and I fully urge you to go to the railway it self - The Bluebell Railway

Forums, I have topics on, including the layout, and also workbench threads where I show the building of loco kits and even a coach or two...
